Royal Enfield Acquires Harris Performance

Royal Enfield is investing in heavy amount of R&D efforts to stay competitive in market, and thus this Indian motorcycle manufacturer have purchased British chassis maker known as Harris Performance.

Harris Performance has already contributed their expertise to Royal Enfield in development of Continental GT's chassis.

Royal Enfield is working on three new motorcycles for next year, using two new engine platforms, Royal Enfield says Harris Performance will work over new generation of products and platform, which means the ground up platforms which needs to be compete with modern cruisers such as Harley will be develop by Harris Performance.

Yamaha shows R1's generation to generation evolution through video

This year Yamaha launched it's Moto GP inspired all new R1 in the month of February. 

Now Yamaha have released very interesting YouTube video, showing up five project leaders who have contributed their efforts in development of Yamaha's flagship superbike in all five generations.

Video is just 1.48 minute long so we don't get much deeper into technical aspects ,But that could be nice isn't it ? Each project leader gives short synopsis over aim of their project so let's have a look.

Yamaha MT 25 spotted in Indonesia

If you love naked bikes then you'll love to know, This MT 25 is just spotted in Indonesia as we know Indonesian government is applying heavy taxes on bikes above 250 cc displacement that's why Indonesia is blessed with some awesome 250 cc bikes.

For example this Yamaha MT 25 based on Yamaha's YZF R25 and YZF R3 with removed fairing and flat handlebar for street fighter character. If this bike could make it's way to India it'll go head to head with Kawasaki's Z250 and upcoming duke 250 as well as some others. But chances for getting this bike in our country is far less instead we believe this bike will make it's way to mostly European   countries. 

But not to loose hope riders, there are chances for YZF R3 in India at the ending of this year or beginning of 2016 as competition is heating up in 300 cc segment and we don't think Yamaha is willing to late in this party.

TVS is Working on 300 cc Apache

The above image doesn't make much sense cause it could be just a piece of some 3d model rendering.

But this is actually wheel design of TVS's upcoming Apache which is being under development in collaboration of BMW.

Recently TVS applied for patent of this rim in India which is almost reminiscent to BMW's 300cc test mule spy pictures we have shown earlier here. 

The other parts of bike's visual design and technological elements are patented which points towards release date is under an year.

Most of manufacturer prefers to take interval of time between patents in their designs so as full glimpse of design can only be taken after releasing actual product, especially if its flagship product for that firm.
