Finally Triumph has launched it's Tiger 800 XR in India at the price point of 10.5 lakhs. The top end variants XCx and XRx have happened to launch three months before XR.
Triumph have planned to assemble Tiger 800 XR in India via CKD route. For those who don't know what's CKD route bike, it's a bike which is imported to country in the form of assorted parts rather than single piece and then assembled in aim country locally.
Internationally Triumph has good reputation in Adventure bikes (ADV) segment, As with all other variants 800 XR will be powered by 800 CC three cylinder motor which produces around 94 bhp and 79 Nm of transmitted through six speed gearbox.
what special you getting with Triumph is it's three cylinder power plant which gives rider insane top end rush of four cylinder motor and lots of torque in low down rev range, of course there's always distinct roar of three cylinder motor which sets it apart.

XR is equipped with latest electronics including ride by wire throttle system which provides smoother power delivery ,better response, and lower emissions. The traction control system for unexpected rear wheel power slides which delays ignition cycles to prevent slides. The ABS is standard on XR so riders have to no worries even in rainy situations.
